Spring Training 2010
To participate, submit your membership form for 2010 and complete this registration form and bring to the first session
(preliminary information – watch for schedule changes at ottawaoc.ca)
Who:
Intermediate and Advanced level orienteers of all ages, juniors and seniors. You must be an OOC paid up club member for 2010.
When:
Training sessions Tuesday nights at 6:30pm-8:00pm in April and May, 2010, 8 weeks.
Practise sessions at Sunday B-meets. Training Day: Saturday 24th.
Cost:
$20.00 for registration to cover map printing. Please print and fill the registration and waiver and bring it with registration fee to the first session.
Goal:
Improve the orienteering skills so the participants can be competitive at the Canadian Championships in Ottawa in August (www.COC2010.ca).

The Training group meet at 10:00am for warm-up and instructions, run your course, meet after race for de-briefing.
Each training session will be led by a different coach.
Coaches will be responsible for selecting specific training for each session.
As far it is practical, week night sessions will be at the same location as the previous B-meet.
Left over maps from the B-meets are to be recycled for the training sessions.
Ribbons may be left in the woods on some courses after the B-meet, to be used for the training. All ribbons are to be removed after the training. Bring your own map cases.
