I would like to thank all the participants that showed up today in bigger numbers than expected. The weather was not quite appealing in the morning, but it turned out to be decent during the actual race.
I apologize for running out of maps, I spoke to Anne Teutsch after the meeting and we'll introduce a motion at the next AGM to buy a copier that would allow us to produce extra maps as needed, since it is always hard to gauge how many people will show up at meets.
Congratulation to the Army Cadets that showed up and did quite well considering the difficulty of the courses they chose (darn control #7 !!! :-) ). Also kudos to their parents for being so supportive and encouraging, I hope to see them soon and hopefully they will put on the running shoes and start orienteering :-)
Extra thanks to Nevin French, David Agar, Rory Harding, Philipe Turcanu, Anita and Eric Williamson + their friend whose name I don't remember for the help with controlling, setup and tear-down. Also a special thank you to our registrars Anne Teutsch, Laura Teutsch and Andrea Blindenbacher and last but not least to Eric Teutsch who drives the SI system every week. People like them is what makes our events so high quality and our club so special!
